Tara Jean is a  29-year-old self-published author.

She has been writing since she was a child and has always used it as a vehicle to better herself and raise awareness for mental health. 

She wrote and published her first poetry collection, Waves, in 2017.

And her newest collection, Undertow was published in 2021.
